How can I book a villa?

Once you have decided to book a villa with us you just need to fill in the online booking form, or you can contact us by email.

Once we receive your pre-booking, we will confirm the availability and will send you a rental contract and payment instructions.

Is cleaning included?

Yes, final cleaning is included in the rental price of all our properties.

So when you arrive the property will be clean and when you depart, you don't have to clean yourself.
We do expect you to leave the property in a proper state (garbage cleared, dishwasher switched on, fridge cleared, BBQ cleaned). 

For stays of 2 or more weeks, booked via Coastalvillas, we also include a mid-week cleaning free of charge.

Are bed linen and towels included?

Yes, the rental price of all properties includes bed linen and bath towels (one large and one small towel per person).
It does not include beach/pool towels.

For stays of 2 or more weeks, booked via Coastalvillas, we also include a change of sheets and towels free of charge.

Are the villas fully equipped?

Yes, they are.

We personally check all properties at the beginning and ending of each season, to make sure that the villa is fully equipped to make your stay enjoyable.

Should you need or miss anything during your stay, please contact us and we will sort this out as soon as possible.

Do you have baby beds and high chairs available?

Yes, we supply both for a small fee of 35€/each. Please reserve cots and high chairs beforehand as we have limited availability.
Please note that the cots provided are travel cots. You should bring your own baby linen. 

Is there wifi available at the property?

The majority of our properties have free internet available. Please double check on the property's specification.


NOTE:  Please note that many of our villas are located in residential areas where the coverage is not optimum. Therefor do not expect the speed of the wifi connection to be as you are probably used at home. In general speed ranges between 1MB-3MB. As more people are connected on the same network, less will be the speed.

Wifi connection works fine for Google, email or Whatsapp, but not for streaming videos online, Skype or heavy downloading. 


Is the pool maintained during our stay?

Yes, all pools are maintained weekly by a professional cleaning company. The poolboy has a key to get to the pool.

 

We will arrive early, is that possible?

We realize you have had a long and exhausting trip and that you are very tired.

However the change-overs on Saturdays are extremely hectic and we have to get it done in 6 hours. That means, clean the villa, make the beds, do minor repairs, etc.
So unfortunately it is not possible to enter sooner than at 17.00h.
On the day of departure you have to leave by 10.00h at the latest.


In low season it may be possible to enter the villa earlier or leave later if it is not occupied. 

Is a late check out possible?

Unfortunately in high season a late check out is not possible, as we have limited time to clean and prepare the villa for the next clients who are arriving that same afternoon.

Check out is at 10.00h latest.

In low or mid season, if the villa is not rented the week after, it may be possible to organise a late check out. Please contact us in advance.

Can you send me a brochure?

You can find all the information we have on this website, therefor we don't have a brochure.

What is the Tourist Tax?

Catalan government requires all visitors over the age of 16 to pay a tourist tax of 0,50€/person/day, paying a maximum of 7 days. So 3,50€/stay.
The total tourist tax amount is reflected in the rental contract and must be paid to the agency.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you cancel a confirmed reservation, you will lose the whole amount you have paid up to that date.
We use the payment received to offer the villa for rent again with a discounted price or a last-minute price. 

This means, if you cancel +8 weeks before arrival: 35% loss of the rental sum.
If you cancel 8 or less weeks before arrival: 100% loss of the rental sum.

We advise you to take out a travel insurance in order to protect yourself should it become necessary for you to cancel your holiday.

We have a special request during our stay, is that possible?

Of course it is and we will be happy to make your stay with us even more memorable.

# You want a special birthdaycake as dessert in the restaurant of your choice? 
# You need taxis to get you there and back so that everyone can drink? 
# You have friends come over for 2 nights and need extra bedlinen? 
# You want to get married in one of the wonderful settings of this area?  Is the little Chapel on the sea where you look down on from your villa suitable? Or do you prefer an old monastery some 5 kilometres in-land followed by dinner under the stars in a magnificent setting? Perhaps you like more an old fortress on top of a hill with breathtaking views, good food, specialised in these kind of occasions?

What if I have any problems during my stay?

We personally check the villa before the rental season for a thourough preparation, and then check the property during each change-over, in order for you to have a worry-free holiday.

However you may encounter small issues or technical problems during your stay. If you have any problem, please contact us and we will do our utmost best to solve it as quickly as possible.
We aim to repair/solve any problems within one day (Sundays excluded).

Any remarks or comments about the property, inventory, cleaning, etc. must be made by email or SMS. No refund will be considered for any problems solved within one day of receipt nor any complaints that have not been notified locally.

How can I pay for my reservation?

To confirm your booking we require a 35% downpayment of the total rental sum within 3 days of contract date.
This can be done by bank transfer to our bank account or by credit card.

If you wish to pay by credit card please note that the surcharge is 2%. For credit card payments, fill out the credit card payment form and fax or email it to us. If you prefer, you can also call us to arrange credit card payment over the phone. We accept Mastercard, Amex, Visa and Eurocard.

Please note that your reservation is not confirmed until we receive the downpayment.

Final payment is due 8 weeks before your rental commences.
We will send you a reminder by email when the payment of the remaining rental sum is due.

What is the 49€ damage fund/deposit waiver?

This is a non-refundable fund/insurance that covers you for possible damage to the property to a maximum of 500€. This means you will not have to pay any security deposit upon arrival.

You will be held liable for damage to the property or its contents above 500€ for which we shall require reimbursement.

Please note that this fund does not cover the replacement of keys and locks.

If you do not wish to make use of this insurance, you can pay the regular 500€ security deposit (by bank transfer or credit card). If no damage to the property or its contents has occurred, the security deposit will be refunded to you by bank transer within 2 weeks after your stay.
